The film "Swades" - a new version of the serial "Love Story" which came in 1994-95

"Swades" is a 2004 released film which is a heart-warming tale of self-discovery, love and patriotism. But do you know that Swades is an adaptation of a story which was released in 1994 by Ashutosh Gowariker's serial named "Love Story".

In an interview, Ashutosh Gowariker had said that "This story was not going out of my mind and I wanted to give a new form, a new color to the story and expand the story. That's why I made Swades".

In this love story, the same Mohan, Geeta, Kaveri Amma are there. The story is also the same.

The role of Mohan Bhargav was played by Ashutosh Gowariker himself who is the director of Swades.

And the most special thing is that the actor who played Kaveri Amma  is same in both movies.

If you watch that serial even today, you will see the same simplicity and humility that Mohan and Geeta had in Swades.

Ashutosh Gowariker is not only a great director but after watching this serial, it seems that he is also a great actor.

The story was excellent, but Shahrukh added a lot of excitement to it in Swades.

Swades is a timeless classic that will continue to inspire generations to come. The themes of love, self-discovery and patriotism in the film are universal and resonate with audiences around the world. If you have watched Swades till now, then you must have watched "Love Story 1994-95" but take out some time and watch "Love Story 1994-95" which is available on YouTube.
